It's definitely a weird card. Rodriguez at +160 is pretty interesting though. He's weirdly completely overlooked despite being one of the most steady and reliable guys in the division. He's tough, durable, has great hands.

I really like Holland, and he's never really lost a boxing match. But D Rod is too good to be that big of an underdog.

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 470 Points   |   Tied for 1655th

Chimaev vs. Diaz
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R1
Khamzat might play with him a little, but he can definitely finish the fight in the 1st round, if he wants to

Li vs. Ferguson
Tony Ferguson, DEC
Haven't been impressed with Leech, I hope Tony let's his hands go, let's go El Cucuy

Holland vs. Rodriguez
Kevin Holland, DEC
If Kevin is smart he's gonna fight on distance behind his jab and leg kick, pls don't go in a war with D-rod

Aldana vs. Chiasson
Irene Aldana, DEC
Macy might wrestle her, but gonna say Aldana cause I like her

Walker vs. Cutelaba
Johnny Walker, TKO, R1
Walker has no chin, Cutelaba gasses 3 minutes in. I'm actually pretty confident in a Johnny Walker KO

Dawodu vs. Erosa
Hakeem Dawodu, TKO, R2
Both have weak chins, but Dawodu is a way better fighter

Almeida vs. Turkalj
Jailton Almeida, TKO, R1
Jailton will run though Anton, that swede is not UFC level

Pickett vs. Tiuliulin
Jamie Pickett, DEC
Tiuliulin looked better than I thought he would in his last fight. But I just can't pick him

Collier vs. Barnett
Jake Collier, DEC
Barnett is gonna gas out

Dumont vs. Wolf
Norma Dumont, DEC
I just can't pick Danyelle

Anheliger vs. Alateng
Chad Anheliger, TKO, R2
Chad is cool, I hope he wins, he's quite small tho

Reed vs. Martinez
Elise Reed, DEC
Reed looked terrible in her last fight, against a not so good opponent, but Melissa is really not good, that record isn't saying anything

Weeks vs. Lainesse
Darian Weeks, DEC
Yohan hits extremely hard but his technique is off and his cardio is trash. Weeks is pretty average but will outpoint him

Diaz will surprise people....but Khamzat is gonna sleep him.

Li vs. Ferguson
Jingliang Li, TKO, R1

Holland has fought the better competition. D-Rod last fight was a year ago....

Aldana vs. Chiasson
Irene Aldana, DEC
Might be an interesting matchup to watch

Walker vs. Cutelaba
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
Someone is going to sleep

Almeida vs. Turkalj
Jailton Almeida, SUB, R2
Almeida ground game is strong, look for rear naked choke

Collier vs. Barnett
Jake Collier, TKO, R3
Someone is going to sleep here...Both are heavy hitters...

Dumont vs. Wolf
Norma Dumont, DEC
Wolf is unknown quanity, Dumont has a good ground game...

Anheliger vs. Alateng
Chad Anheliger, DEC
Anheliger on a 5 win streak...

Reed vs. Martinez
Melissa Martinez, DEC
lower level women mma, not interested at all

Weeks vs. Lainesse

Lainesse has a litle bit better striking skill

Diaz is already a spent fighter and you know the pattern of how to get him. I expect Chimaev to change guards, to shoot low kicks, to pivot and when he takes the center to enter that single leg which he will take without any effort because he is physically superior, and we also know that Diaz does not have any TDD. Avoid the guard, but try to advance to half mount, where he will give his violent gnp. He will control his hips, head on the edge of the cage, arm control and then work gnp from which he will finish the match on doctor stoppage.

Khamzat Chimaev RD3 KO/TKO

Not sure if Chad Anheliger can pull of the upset but all you who have him by KO better change that pick pronto... if Casey Kenney never got him out of there Chad won't either

Casey Kenny isn't a knockout threat, He TKO/KO 0 people in the UFC, And only knockout 2 people in 16 MMA wins, And one of the knockout was a doctor stoppage,

Holland vs. Rodriguez
Kevin Holland, DEC
This fight ( and maybe the Aldana one as well) is the only thing separating this card from a Bellator blockbuster. I love a Bellator freakshow from time to time, don't get me wrong, but from the UFC I except fighters like Nate Diaz to fight the likes of McGregor or Robbie Lawler, and Chimaev to fight elite fighters like Covington or Usman, or even a title fight at this point. Why is on old injured legend on a 4 fight losing streak like Ferguson getting feed to a ranked killer in his prime like Jingliang a weight class above his in the ******* co main event ? The card will end on two very sad and predicable beatings, nobody will be satisfyed. Well at least Erosa vs Dawodu and Cutelaba vs Walker are fun and well matched scraps...

The first round will be Chimaev pushing the action with Nate playing it cool until he gets caught being too lax on the ground in the second.

I don't like Chimaev at all and want him to loose his jaw in front of a crying Kadyrov, but honestly Diaz only chances are if he manages to survive 3 full rounds, until Chimaev gasses out.

Now that I'm  thinking about it, this is a possibilty.

Tony vs Li

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 0 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 2769th

May be a lot closer than the odds suggest. In fact Tony could win.

Pros for Tony -
Faster, more dynamic, better ground game, big reach, more volume. Has fought everyone in the LW top 5.

Cons -
Is his chin really that bad? Caught by a massive kick last time. Winning the fight until then. But has not looked himself recently. Moving up a weight class is probably a negative but who knows?

Li was losing to Salikhov until he slowed down. His win condition is basically a KO

Go back and watch that Casey Kenney Heili Alateng fight one more time.  Kenney absolutely puts a beating on him and Alateng keeps coming forward.  Hes a ****** G for not quitting in that fight.  Sorry, if a talent like Kenney couldn't get him out of there I seriously doubt Anheliger has a chance to.

Erosa is on a good run. He has gone 5-1 with 4 stoppages in his latest fights. This is his second run in the UFC. What opponent does he get? A fighter that is on a 6-1 run! That’s why the UFC is the toughest fights.

Kenney is a force, and I'd pick him to beat Heili and Anheliger back to back. But he's not really a finisher, he's a high IQ fighter who puts methods on people over the course of a fight. If he feels safer putting a beating on someone and staying away from the killshot he will.

I'd put more stock in an Anheliger finish than I would a Casey finish at 135. Idk if I can pick Anheliger here, I just know he'll go for that shot even if it's a bad idea lol.

I think Erosa could beat Dawodu by causing a chaotic brawl. I don't think Hakeem can handle that
