Sad to lose Cappeloza, he is a very explosive figther. Ivanov is more about doing the minimum to earn a split decision.

Linton vassel recent win are all KO againts slow opponent. Goltsov is technical, good footwork and not that slow for a H.W. I dont think a 40 years old Vasssel can clip in.

he won a dec against fortune. Goltsov gasses badly and imo Vassell will have strength advantage here

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 562nd

Delija vs. Moldavsky
Valentin Moldavsky, DEC
Delija has power and could catch Molavsky, but looking at their records neither has beat as good of opposition as I thought. So I'm not really sure. Moldavsky was able to completely control the bigger Steve Mowry so I'll go with him for now.

Goltsov vs. Vassell
Denis Goltsov, TKO, R3
I really like Linton and he has pulled a few upsets and comebacks, but I think that's how he'd have to win this one. I don't see him starching Goltsov on the feet, and Goltsov will be bigger and possibly the better wrestler.

Carmouche vs. Velasquez III
Liz Carmouche, SUB, R2
Why the second rematch? I don't see any reason why this one will go differently than the first two, unless Velasquez has really improved her tdd. But she hasn't fought since their last match.

Golm vs. James
Marcelo Golm, DEC
Another rematch, really? Just why? This was a pretty good fight the first time though, hopefully it will be again. Tough one because if Golm can avoid the big shots he has a good chance. I'm actually leaning towards him because James was thoroughly outwrestled last time by Saricam and didn't look great. But I won't be shocked if James pulls another upset with a big punch.

Ivanov vs. Bilostenniy
Blagoy Ivanov, DEC
Someone who has finished basically all his wins in the first round versus someone who has never been knocked out? Ivanov doesn't look very dangerous lately but he can probably weather the first round storm and win rounds.

Santos vs. Joanne
Taila Santos, TKO, R2
Joanne is ok, but Santos is actually one of the top 5 in the world.

Watanabe vs. Young
Kana Watanabe, SUB, R1
Kana is really good on the ground, and improving on the feet. I think she's a dark horse for this season.

Meredith vs. Johnson
Bryce Meredith, DEC
Could be interesting, Johnson is on quite a win streak.

@MarioSuperSmash
That's definitely a fight to watch. I think Goltsov should win on paper but Linton has pulled several upsets at HW. He is strong and can maybe outlast Goltsov, but he tends to get hurt badly in a lot of his wins and idk if he'll survive this one.
I'm really excited to see what happens here! I'm a fan of both, one is an overachiever and one is an underachiever lol.

Vassell is 40 years old and he breathes poorly if the fight goes beyond the 1st round.
if he doesn't finish in first then his body is like a bodybuilder and these muscles take all his strength

I literally didn't know about this until looking at their records for this fight. After James failed his second drug test he looked pretty lackluster in his last fight, so I feel better about Golm.
And sidenote, poor Tyrell Fortune lol. The dude can't catch a break.

Delija vs. Moldavsky
Ante Delija, TKO, R1
Delija via KO/TKO. Neither have beat anyone good. Valentin is boring and Ante looks good one fight then sloppy the next. Hoping we get a brawl in round one so we don’t fall asleep

Goltsov vs. Vassell
Linton Vassell, TKO, R2
Linton via KO/TKO. Goltsov gasses and Linton pours it on him

Carmouche vs. Velasquez III
Liz Carmouche, SUB, R2
Liz via Sub. Ah..yes..3rd fight between two old women. May a finish happen so we don’t fall asleep

Santos vs. Joanne
Taila Santos, TKO, R1
Taila via KO/TKO. Taila is UFC level, shame she is no longer in the organization. May she have fun in this **** show product of PFL.
